Carbon Steel Casting
Carbon steel castings are the most widely used category of steel castings. Their properties vary with carbon content – low carbon for ductility and weldability, medium carbon for balanced strength-toughness, and high carbon for hardness and wear resistance.
Our carbon steel castings conform to IS 1030 and ASTM A27/A216 standards. We produce castings across the full carbon steel range using Cupola and oil-fired furnaces. Chemistry is verified using our in-house spectrometer before every pour. Heat treatment is offered as per specification – annealing, normalizing, or quench and temper – to meet mechanical property requirements.
